Steve Davies, CEO of Javelin Wealth Management on Bloomberg Markets: Asia

Stephen Davies, founder of Javelin Wealth Management, joined Bloomberg’s Haslinda Amin and Rishaad Salamat on Bloomberg Markets: Asia recently. Below are the key ideas shared:

1) Policies in China need to become more transparent for it to become attractive for investors again
2) Emerging markets to benefit from the peak in interest rates and expected to perform in the second half of the year.
3) Not particularly keen on UK markets, with more transparency needed from the government and poor economic performance. Possibility to reconsider in the coming 12 months, with a new government in place.
4) The trademark 60/40 portfolio is set to perform in 2023, as returns from fixed-income securities improve.
