“Premium but not expensive” – Polka Mishra, Partner at Javelin Wealth Management, discussed India’s outlook on CNBC Squawk Box with hosts Sri Jegarajah and Martin Soong.
India remains a strong growth story and Polka disagrees that valuation is a big concern for Indian markets as the economic fundamentals remain strong and earnings continue to be revised upwards. However, youth unemployment is a key risk to the economy. She highlights that India needs to create 12 to 15 million jobs annually and address the skill gap to continue on this trajectory.
