Although our formalized investment process is critical to ensuring that we craft the best investment solutions, our people are equally important.
We are continuing to add to our team of qualified and seasoned investment professionals in whom our clients can have complete confidence. Our three partners possess years of relevant experience and product knowledge, and have demonstrated a good and practical understanding of how investment markets work. All staff members participate in ongoing professional training and certification as a matter of course.
Stephen Davies – is the CEO and senior partner of Javelin Wealth Management. Steve worked as a stockbroker and senior director of ABN Amro's Asian equity business for 13 years, during which he participated in a successful management buy out. He is an active investor in his own right and established Javelin in 2003. He holds Masters degrees from London Business School and Edinburgh University, and is a former EXCO member and Treasurer of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore (see www.fpas.org.sg).
Steve is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM). The CFPCM standard is an internationally recognized qualification for the financial planning industry, awarded after fulfillment of an extensive examination programme and to advisers with the requisite amount of relevant experience.
Tom Inglis – is a Director and partner of Javelin Wealth Management. Tom has extensive experience in the field of equity investment research, having covered the Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesian markets over a period of 15 years. Having started with WI Carr in Hong Kong, he was director of equity research with both Peregrine Securities in Singapore and ING Baring Securities in both Jakarta and Singapore.
A graduate in Geology from Oxford University, Tom is a qualified chartered accountant having trained with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co (now KPMG) in London. He is also a licensed Financial Adviser and a Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM).
Paul Muller – is a Director and partner of Javelin Wealth Management. He began his stockbroking career with the Hong Leong Group in Hong Kong in 1982 and subsequently spent 16 years with Schroders filling a number of roles in the equity sales business throughout Asia including 8 years in Japan. Paul joined the Japanese desk at Deutsche Bank in London in 2000 where he remained until he joined Javelin Wealth Management in mid 2006.
Paul is an economics graduate from Auckland University, a licensed Financial Adviser and an Associate Financial Planner (AFP).
Seah Kim Ping – is our Manager - Client administration, a licensed Financial Adviser, and a Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM). Kim Ping joined Javelin Wealth Management at the end of 2004. Kim Ping is responsible for all matters relating to the operation of all client accounts in conjunction with each client’s individual adviser.
Carina Lee – is our Administrator, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.
Certified Financial Planner and CFPCM, are certification marks owned by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., USA. The Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) is the sole licensing authority for the CFPCM marks in Singapore, through agreement with CFPCM Board. Associate Financial Planner, AFPTM, and Associate Wealth Planner, AWPTM, are certification marks owned by the FPAS. |
